What we like: It’s hard to find a lot of resources from a female perspective in the influencer marketing world. Women in Influencer Marketing offers blogs on all sorts of topics, from navigating pay transparency to spotlights on notable female influencers. If you go beyond the blog, you’ll actually find another gem: the Women in Influencer Marketing’s live education sessions. Unlike the blog, these events are current. What we like: As you can tell from the screenshot above, The Shelf anything but another dull, greyscale marketing website. It’s colorful both in visuals and in the content you get—and its contemporary style is also reflected in the articles. Some of our favorite pieces are those that introduce brands to the strengths and characteristics of different generations, like the Meet Gen Z and Meet Gen Alpha pieces. You’ll need to know the ins and outs of these generations if you want to hire them as influencers, that’s for sure! The writing is engaging and fun—and if you don’t have time to read a bunch of posts, some have quick audio recaps, podcast-style.

You’ll also find detailed insights from Traackr’s work with top brands like Lipton, L’Oreal, and Samsung. There’s also a ton of data broken down into manageable pieces, like the annual US Influencer Marketing Reports and State of Influence Report. The depth and breadth of information stored on this site is remarkable—and incredibly valuable to anyone in the influencer industry.

What we like: On the Sprout Social blog, you’ll find all sorts of tactical information and influencer marketing tips from a social media marketing point of view. You’ll get everything from case studies for brands like Crayola to in-depth hashtag analytics for YouTube and Meta to detailed guides, like this one on auditing your social media accounts. There’s also more narrowly focused posts, like the 7-week influencer marketing strategy template and this influencer marketing directory. Every post we found on the Sprout Social blog is packed with actionable tips and resources to succeed in your influencer marketing efforts.
